About the Program
Question: Can I sign up for more than 1 year subscription?
Answer: Yes, you can have a 3, 4, and 5-year subscription. Pricing will be 25% off starting the first year with a price guarantee for the remaining term. Please contact us for more information.
Question: Are the programs aligned to standards?
Answer: Yes. Our Math program meets 100% of the benchmarks in the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and NCTM. Our Language Arts programs meet most of the CCSS. Our Science and Social Studies programs meet many of the benchmarks in the Next Generation, STEM, and STEAM Standards.
Question: Do the programs have assessment?
Answer: Yes. Currently teachers and parents can view each student's activity, including time on, time paused, by program. We are working on other trackable features for greater assessment evaluation.
Question: What languages does the programs come in?
Answer: All programs are offered in English. All Math and many Science and Social Studies programs are also written in Spanish. Most include voice over in dual language.
Question: Where can I preview the lessons?
Answer: Go to our "Stuff we make" tab on our website (the purple shopping bag button or click here) to see all the lessons we have to offer. Click on a subject in your grade to see a description and how-to video of each individual lesson.  


How to Access the Program
Question: Can classroom students use the programs at home?
Answer: Yes. They can use the program 24/7, 365 days a year. Just simply use the login credentials to enter the program on any supported device.
Question: Is there a free trial?
Answer: Yes, we offer a 15-day free trial of up to 3 individual programs for you to test. Click here to start your free trial today.
Question: How do I sign-up or subscribe?
Answer: You can sign-up by clicking on the "Register" button (click here). To buy a subscription, click the "Buy Now!" button (click here). You may want to first try the 15-day free trial by clicking on the "Try Me" button (click here) before subscribing. It may also be helpful to use the "Subscription Calculator" (click here) to compare the different pricing structures to find the right fit for your needs and budget.
Question: Can I use this on an iPad?
Answer: Yes, many of our titles are now available for use on the iPad. Just look for the "Tablet-Ready" version for English, and "Tablet-Listo" version in Spanish. 
Question: Why does the Print feature not work in the web portal?
Answer: Make sure you turn off your pop-up blocker when using the Print feature in any of the lessons. 
Question: What are the minimum system requirements to run the program?
Answer: In order to run the program, we recommend you use an internet speed of no less than 1 gbps. For optimal speed, use 5 gbps. To test your internet speed, click here. If you're using a PC device, we recommend you use Chrome 10+ or Internet Explorer 9+. If you're using a MAC device, we recommend you use Firefox 4+ or Safari 5.1+. Adobe Flash is also required to run our Flash-based lessons. Click here to download Flash for free. For RAM, we recommend you have 4GB, and no less than 2GB. For your processor, we recommend you have 1 Ghz or greater. For our HTML5-based lessons that will run on the iPad, we recommend you have iOS7 or newer and using Safari or Chrome. 


Cost and Payment Information
Question: How much does it cost.
Answer: Homeschoolers can enjoy our streaming content for as little as $15.00 a month (that's only $0.50 a day); teachers for as little as $99.00 a year (that's only $0.10 a day per student); schools with unlimited teachers and students for as little as $999.00 a year. You can also add additional schools for as little as $499.00 a year per school.
Question: What forms of payment do you accept?
Answer: We accept PayPal, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
Question: What do I do if my credit card was declined?
Answer: A declined credit card could be for many different reasons. Most likely, the address you've entered does not match the billing address that appears on your credit card statement. Please verify the following when entering your credit card information: Your credit card number does not include spaces or dashes. Your expiry date is correct and not expired. Your card verification code is correct. You have not reached your credit card limit.
Question: How can I update or change the credit card information associated with this subscription?
Answer: To manage your payment information, visit your "My Account" tab found in your Dashboard.


Account Management

Question: How easy is it to get set up?
Answer: Because the portal is operating in the Cloud, no IT support is required. It should take a teacher 1 hour to set up a classroom with 30 students. It should take a school 1 hour to set up 30 teachers. And it should take a district 1 hour to set up 30 schools.
Question: Can I change my password or email address?
Answer: Yes. You can manage your account details in your dashboard once you have been registered. If a District, Principal/Administrator, or Teacher has set up the account for you, we suggest you change your password once logged in to ensure security.
Question: How do I renew my subscription?
Answer: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of your subscription period. To manage your subscription periods, or to opt out of automatic renewal, visit your "My Account" tab found in your Dashboard.
Question: If I buy a subscription, can I cancel it?
Answer: No. Like any membership, you've made a commitment for that period, and your pricing is based on that. You may want to use our Free Trial (click here) to ensure that this program is right for your students.
Question: How do I cancel my membership?
Answer: To manage your membership, opt out of the automatic renewal by visiting your "My Account" tab found in your Dashboard. Your membership will then expire at the end of your current subscription period.
Question: Can I share my subscription with my friends and peers?
Answer: No. Each subscription is for the selected number of schools, classrooms, and/or students. If you are a district, and you purchased a subscription for 30 schools, then you can only share the subscription with 30 selected schools. If you are a school, the subscription has to remain with those teachers and classrooms in that single building. If you are a teacher, the subscription has to remain with up to 36 students in your classroom. All users can use the program at school or at home.
Question: Can a district view activity at the school level?
Answer: Yes. District levels can view school activity, teacher activity, and individual student activity.
Question: How secure is the subscription-based web portal?
Answer: K12Content uses secured servers for conducting online transactions. K12Content does not store any sensitive information on its users. Steps have been taken to safeguard the integrity of data and protection of personal information. All personal information is transmitted and protected by encryption technology using Secured Socket Layer (SSL) protocol to our 3rd party merchant gateway. If security monitoring reveals possible evidence of criminal activity, information to such activity will be provided to law enforcement officials.
